Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Taela Marie Boutique! We absolutely want you to be happy with your purchase and truly appreciate your support of our small business.

Because we are a small boutique, we offer store credit or exchanges only. Refunds to the original form of payment are not issued.

Returns & Exchanges

Items may be returned for store credit or exchange within 14 days of the purchase date (for in-person purchases) or delivery date (for online orders).

Items must be received or postmarked within 14 days to be eligible.

Returns requested after 14 days will not be accepted.

Store Credit

Approved returns will be issued as store credit in the form of an e-gift card that can be used toward a future purchase.

Items purchased using store credit are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Item Condition

Items must be returned in their original condition and must be:

  • Unworn (trying on is fine)
  • Unwashed
  • Free of makeup, deodorant, perfume, smoke, or pet hair
  • With original tags attached

Items that show any signs of wear, washing, damage, or alterations will not be accepted for return.  Due to the nature of denim and fitted apparel, items that show signs of stretching or wear will not be accepted for return.

Taela Marie Boutique reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the above conditions.

Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Sale or clearance items
  • Jewelry
  • Sunglasses
  • Hair accessories
  • Hats
  • Undergarments
  • Gift cards

How to Start a Return

To begin a return, please email us at info@taelamarieboutique.com with the following:

  • Your name
  • Order number (if purchased online)
  • Item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for the return

We will respond with return instructions.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or we made an error.

Vendor Event Purchases

Items purchased at vendor events or pop-up markets follow our standard 14-day store credit return policy. Customers are responsible for return shipping or returning the item in person.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at info@taelamarieboutique.com.

Please include:

  • Your order number (if purchased online)
  • Photos of the item(s)
  • Photos of the packaging

We will review the issue and work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible.
